• Model-F is the newest addition to HemaClear’s product line. It is an easy-to-use and cost-effective tourniquet perfectly suited for surgeries on the hand or wrist. Model-F was designed to optimize physician comfort and can be used in a wide range of procedures including trigger finger, carpal tunnel, ganglion cyst removal, distal radius fractures, and soft tissue surgery. It is deployed in 10 seconds in one quick motion. Model-F is created as a one-size-fits-all solution, eliminating the need to stock a wide range of sizes. Designed to be detached easily, the distal part of the stockinet is removed directly after the device is unrolled, exposing the exsanguinated hand and saving valuable time.

• Designed for simple procedures as well as complex surgeries of the foot & ankle, Model-A is recommended for use in hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians’ offices. As a one-size-fits-all device, it is suited for orthopedic as well as podiatric procedures and can be used for bunion surgery, ankle replacement, soft tissue surgery, trauma, and more. An additional and exciting feature of this model is a proprietary parking system that ensures the device is safely placed no more that 15cm (5.9 inches) from the lateral malleolus. As with all HemaClear tourniquet, the Model-A is positioned in seconds and is sterile and disposable.

• The surgical tourniquet for the arm was created specifically for upper extremity surgery and trauma. It is ideal for quick patient turnaround time in the operating room and clinic. Since the exsanguinating ring is extremely narrow, it can be applied to create an effective block extremely close to the axilla, maximizing the surgical field. HemaClear upper extremity devices can also be placed on the forearm, thus reducing the volume of tissue under ischemic conditions. The disposable and sterile device eliminates the need for any additional equipment.

• The HemaClear orthopedic tourniquet for the lower extremity is used for total knee replacement, arthroscopy, lower extremity trauma, and in any situation where the surgeon requires a bloodless field of the lower extremity. The tourniquet’s unique shape and elasticity prevents it from slipping during procedures and enables a larger surgical field, especially important with short or wide limbs. As with all HemaClear sterile surgical tourniquets, the tourniquet for the lower extremity fits all patients and is applied in seconds without the need for additional equipment.

• Pediatric surgery presents a challenge for any surgeon due to the small size and circumference of patient extremities. This is especially pronounced when a tourniquet is used. The surgical field becomes even smaller when using a tourniquet, decreasing the surgeon’s ability to see the extremity completely and operate surgical instruments properly. HemaClear tourniquets for pediatric patients provide the perfect solution. Designed specifically for infants and children, these sterile tourniquets require little space to effectively block the flow of blood to the extremity. A larger surgical field is created, resulting in an improved operative experience – for the surgeon as well as the operating staff.
